SunCap Services
Every engagement starts with your comfort level: hands-off discretionary management, or non-discretionary advice where you make the final call.
Service Offerings
Portfolio Management
SunCap reviews your portfolio, investment strategy, and holdings on an ongoing basis through a wrap-fee program. As part of our standard services, we typically monitor client accounts on a weekly basis, not just at quarterly check-ins.
We offer both discretionary advisory services, where your Investment Adviser Representative makes buy/sell decisions on your behalf, and non-discretionary services, where you make the ultimate investment decision on every transaction. We limit the types of investments recommended to those appropriate for your specific portfolio and goals.
Financial Planning
We assess your full financial situation, income, net worth, retirement timeline, and risk tolerance, and provide advice to meet the goals you define. Planning fees are typically billed partially in advance, with the remainder billed afterward as the plan is delivered.
This is where the Investment Policy Statement comes in: a structured intake covering income needs, acceptable loss tolerance, desired rate of return, and how you've reacted to real market downturns in the past, so your plan reflects how you actually behave, not just how you think you would.
Third-Party Adviser Selection
When a specialized outside adviser is the better fit for part of your portfolio, we identify and coordinate that relationship on your behalf, applying the same standard of care to the selection process itself as we do to our own recommendations.
Fee Schedule
Fees are billed quarterly in advance based on the account's value as of the first business day of the billing period. There is no account minimum required by the fee schedule itself, though SunCap's standard minimum account size is $50,000.

SunCap is not compensated on the basis of commissions, trade fees, sales or purchases of shares, or as a result of 12b-1 fees.
